The White Sox have been red hot and I'll back him here against the struggling Cubs. Even against Carlos Silva who is 8-2 with a 3.01 ERA. He has lost the last 5 times he's faced the White Sox and is 2-5 in his career with a 6.57 ERA @ US Cellular Field. Silva has a sore hamstring and won't be completely 100% here and it's a good spot with good value as Freddy Garcia is 5-0 with just 5 ER in 36 IP in 5 career starts vs. the Cubs.
The Cubs have really struggled with the bats as they have just a .167 average vs. RHP in their last 10 while scoring only 2.05 runs per 9. Their bullpen has pitched well, but they'll have to go up against a hot White Sox team that is clearly pitching better especially out of their bullpen with a 2.01 ERA last 10. Cubs are just 3-11 in their last 14 vs. RH starter while the White Sox are 14-3 in their last 17 vs. a righty and 24-7 in their last 31 inter league games vs. RH starter. Garcia has always pitched well in inter league play with a 12-1 record in his last 13 starts. He'll be on extra rest here with 5 days where he is 26-7 in his last 33 on 5 days rest. Cubs are just 1-6 in their last 7 @CHW.
